We don’t see many Sauvignon Blancs from the Dolomite Mountains on the Italian side of the Alps, but hopefully this will be a good incentive for more to come. The wine received sur lie treatment in the tanks for a few months, which gives it a richness similar to the better whites of Bordeaux while maintaining that tart, green, fruity freshness of Sauvignons from New Zealand.
