There are tons of background to this wine – it claims to be the southernmost winery in the world (around the 45th parallel), and it is part of the Bulgheroni stable of premium wineries scattered around the world. The wine itself is quite good, with tangy but full-bodied cherry flavors and good intensity and structure – similar, perhaps, to the oceanside Pinot Noirs from California’s southern Central Coast.
