If you aren’t familiar with the grape variety Heida, as it is called in Switzerland, then Savignin (without the “o”) as it’s called in Jura may be slightly more familiar – slightly. This wine is very well made and keeps your attention in the glass, as it is aromatic with crisp green-apple and citrus fruitiness and some hints of whey with slightly dusty tannins.
