Viña Cobos, Luján de Cuyo (Mendoza, Argentina) Malbec “Bramare” 2022 ($49, Paul Hobbs Selections)

From Malbec pioneer Paul Hobbs, this wine has lovely basically red fruits but with a touch of creamy blueberries, is lightly tart and a little lean in the finish with light tannins. It is a seductive wine in that it keeps drawing you to taste a little more without overwhelming you with depth or complexity.
