Roederer Estate, Anderson Valley (Mendocino County, California) Sparkling Brut Rosé NV ($39)

This is a little more difficult to find than the NV Brut from Roederer Estate, but if you’re looking for a little strawberry to go with your apples and toast, it is worth taking the extra time to locate a bottle of this. It carries what has become the classic house style when it comes to texture and weight, and adds the red fruit and a hint of tomato leaf for complexity. Arnaud Weyrich has blazed the trail when it comes to what can be done in Anderson Valley when it comes to bubbles. Contains 56% Pinot Noir, and 44% Chardonnay.
