Unico Zelo, Riverland (South Australia) Fiano “Jade & Jasper” 2023 ($29, Epicurean Wines)

Unico Zelo is a small, up-and-coming winery from Adelaide Hills, Australia. They source their grapes from a variety of vineyards seeking out relationships with high-quality, sustainable vineyards. Jade & Jasper is made from Fiano, a grape native to Campania in Southern Italy. Known for its racy acidity and full-flavored notes, Fiano is rarely found outside of Italy but that is the draw for Unico Zelo founders Laura and Brendan Carter. Jade & Jasper has bright acidity and is booming with pear, red apple, saline, and jasmine notes. Enjoy through 2028.
