Encruzado is a high-quality white varietal almost exclusively grown in the Dão region of Portugal. Dão’s naturally warm climate is quick to ripen this early-to-mid-ripening variety while Encruzado’s complex structure is ideal for oak and lees aging. Titular’s Reserva flavor is delicious and ranges from pineapple and starfruit to sourdough and vanilla. As with many Dão whites, Titular’s Reserva Encruzado is easy to enjoy. Doubly so with a price tag under $20.
