Fresh and clean at pop and pour, the aromatics carry bright green apple, lemon and a hint of toffee. The palate turns the apple red – there’s a new variety called Cosmic Crisp that comes to mind – and lemon zest with soft toasty notes. The finish is fairly short, and that’s intentional. It’s meant to cleanse the palate between bites. Fish and chips is a natural here.
