Sparkling Rosé is a wide open field as far as what’s possible stylistically, and this iteration falls on the dark side of the spectrum, not only in color but in flavor profile. It is deep and serious, with a rich mousse carrying bold cherry, strawberry, and spice flavors, even incorporating a brioche note that’s a rare find in the rosé category, likely due to the high percentage of Chardonnay and two years of lees aging. It’s long and maintains its depth throughout, which makes it worthy of the table from the beginning to the end of a meal. Bravo! Contains 88% Chardonnay and 12% Pinot Noir.
