The inaugural release of this bottling of thirteen year old clone 337 Cabernet on the family’s Home Ranch Vineyard shows that you should expect there to be several follow up releases. It is a celebration of a site hitting its stride, and its bright acid profile carries rich blackberry and cherry fruit with accents of dark chocolate. It is delicious now and will age well over the next 5 to 10 years. Pedroncelli hasn’t been resting on their laurels for the past 97 years, and this bottle shows that continued reformation is a key to success in business as well as in the bottle.
