Just another WOW wine from Acumen’s PEAK line. There has been a consistent richness of style to the portfolio, and this first look at the new Attelas Vineyard Cabernet shows a deep expression of Cabernet Sauvignon that is classic in construction, with rich blackberry and cassis joined by notes of vanilla, dried herbs and cigar box spice tones. A fleshy texture has plenty of structure to support it, and it is already showing good integration. If you roll in this price range, you have a stock-worthy wine here that delivers solid value. 9% Malbec.
