The Friuli region in Northern Italy continues to be one of my favorites for Pinot Grigio. Finding quality wines for a reasonable price from the region is usually quite easy. For an under-$20 price point wine, this showed impressive flavors ranging from marzipan and cloves to bruised apples and candied lemons to honeysuckle floral notes. Albino Armani makes it look easy to make such a delicious wine.
