Richer and more full-bodied than most Nero d’Avolas, this value-priced rendition exhibits plenty of juicy dark fruit flavors intermingled with notes echoing tar, leather, and sun-baked earth. Given the low price tag, it is surprisingly (and deliciously) complex.
