Born from a shared dream among a group of childhood friends in Mendoza, Argentina, the four producers of Alma 4 all met when they were 17 years old. Later, in 1998, they made 300 bottles of sparkling wines. Today, they are producing traditional method sparkling wines in the Uco Valley at altitudes of 4,000 to 5,000 feet in the Andes. Their 2018 Pinot Noir – Chardonnay (70%/ 30%) offers aromas and flavors of apples, pears, fennel, and a touch of hazelnut with well-integrated bubbles, freshness, and a long and tapered finish, making it a complex sipper.
