Alma Rosa Winery is in the Santa Rita Hills AVA in Santa Barbara County, California. It is a cool climate region due to cool Pacific winds flowing through the gap between the Purisima Hills to the north, and Santa Rosa Hills to their south. Bosnia born winemaker Samra Morris crafts smooth-as-silk wines with an emphasis freshness and balance. This estate wine is a blend of several lots from across the winery holdings. It shows typical strawberry and raspberry aromas, with noticeable acidity, silky tannins and a medium finish.
