The Paso Robles region is quite diverse with varied topography and microclimates. This wine comes from vineyards in the Estrella, Templeton and Adelaida districts and combines the characteristics of all three. The 2018 Alma Sol Meritage has a deep ruby color. It shows blackcurrant, blackberry and raspberry and the nose with elements of herbs, vanilla and baking spice. The flavors offer an intriguing range of red and black fruits with hints of cocoa, vanilla and spice. There is a bright and lively lift to the finish that makes it even more refreshing.
