From Ernst Loosen in Oregon, this is a wine laid down for five years after bottling, a practice that a few winemakers who can afford to carry inventory do to present the buyer with a ready-to-drink wine. This one is very harmonious on the palate, with lovely, lingering cherry flavors, although it could perhaps profit from a bit more acidity.
