Ribolla Gialla is a white Italian and Slovenian grape variety from the Fruili-Venezia Giulia of Italy that has found its way to California. This delightful wine from Duncan Arnot Meyers and Nathan Lee Roberts is a fine example. It is a very crisp, mouthwatering wine, with aromas and flavors of green apple, white peach, citrus zest, and floral notes threaded with dusty mineral notes. The partners founded their company in 2001 in Healdsburg. Previously Roberts had worked with his father making wine barrels. Meyers worked in several wineries learning how to make wine in Napa and Sonoma. The partners work with vineyard owners throughout California to source grapes like these from the Bengier Vineyard.
