It is hardly derogatory to refer to a wine as a “crowd pleaser” as pleasing the majority of tasters in a crowd must rank very high on the objectives of any wine producer. This wine fulfills that objective with some sweetness in the mid-palate and finish, but this aspect is counterbalanced by appropriate levels of fresh acidity and some appealing spice notes.
