Brion Wise’s wines are not exactly unknown, but they should be better known, as they deliver both quality and value. This Syrah from Moon Mountain has some red fruit notes but is mainly red and black raspberry and black cherry in flavor with some pleasant hints of barrel oak. It is very smooth in texture, complex in flavors and long on the palate – great for sipping or at the table.
