Rich and full but by no means heavy, with its purity of fruit shining through even in older vintages, this little Sicilian beauty is indeed a find, especially at a more-than-reasonable price. With no oak presence to interfere, the complex fruit flavors are enhanced by hints of leather, balsamic, chocolate and anise.
