This brand is part of the Aquilini stable of wines from Washington state, and it’s a delightful, just barely off-dry expression that delivers pure Riesling character. Fans of the variety will consider this a find, and people still hanging on to preconceptions about the grape will find a glass of it to be a barrier breaker. Nectarine and green apple flavors ride freshening acidity through a persistent finish, with the stony minerality adding tension to the fruit profile. Well done!
