I don’t often think of Prosecco as having a reserved or austere side, but this bottling succeeds with floral and stone aromas that present on the palate in a very dry style that emphasizes stony minerality over delicate fruit. An interesting note — 10% Pinot Bianco and 5% Verdiso are in the mix, adding structure without adding weight. Very nicely done.
