Winemaker Jeff Gaffner has a deft hand with Chardonnay, consistently producing wines that are rich and full-bodied without losing their elegance. The 2017 vintage from Sierra Mar Vineyard in the Central Coast is yet another beauty from Gaffner, showing notes of lemon crème, apple and pear with a dollop of fall spice and a thread of minerality that runs through it start to finish.
