Perfect weather resulted in an excellent vintage for the Tinta del País (also known as Tempranillo) grapes destined for this wine. It has a concentrated black ruby color with aromas and flavors of blackberry, black cherry fruit with hints of white pepper, nutmeg strawberry, vanilla, and citrus zest. It is full bodied, rich and savory rich in the mouth with crisp acidity and chewy tannins. The winemaker considers it a classic example of a fine Ribera del Duero wine. Enjoy it with a beef or lamb roast.
