A sophisticated red made with Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec, with plenty of juicy fruit flavor but also a firm and satisfying structure. Far too many Argentinean reds at this sort of price point feel so soft on the palate as to seem flabby and unfocused. Not this one. It’s the result of a joint venture between the Barons Rothschild company from Château Lafitte and Nicolas Catena, and it shows its pedigree.
