Here is a brooder that will take its own sweet time unwinding in your cellar, and it will be worth the wait to expose the “perl” within. Presently pepper corned and puckery, there is rich black and blue fruit lurking, awaiting the time when it will shine. It’s a wine that showcases a winery philosophy, and it is a philosophy worth knowing. I would start in on this in about 2029, or decant it for a day if going in early. Predominantly Syrah, with 10% Grenache.
