The folks at Borealis Vintners in the Pacific Northwest of the United States have created a delightful wine from 55% Riesling, 20% Pinot Gris, 15% Muller-Thurgau, and 10% Gewurztraminer. It is an inviting wine with very ripe apple, pineapple, pear, and peach flavors, balanced with a bit of sweetness, crisp acidity and a long finish that lingers in the mouth. Serve it well chilled, especially in warm weather months. Enjoy it with a spicy Asian curry, or a pork stir-fry.
