A step up in quality if only modestly in price from the signature Bouvet Blanc, this vintage-dated bubbly from the Loire makes us wonder why we don’t drink more sparkling Chenin Blanc and why we don’t see more on restaurant wine lists, especially considering the price. The wine is creamy, almost peppermint-y in flavor with hints of wood strawberries and lots of good fizziness.
