Brancaia, Chianti Classico (Tuscany, Italy) 2010

Jan 15, 2014

By Robert Whitley

Everything I look for in a good Chianti is present in this wine. It is beautifully structured, exhibiting firm acidity, fine tannins and an abundance of ripe black cherry fruit. On the nose the wine offers a savory, earthy bouquet and hints of spice. It is long and fresh on the palate and should easily improve with age over the next 10 to 15 years. A perfect companion for roasted or grilled meats.
