Lip-sticking tannins give away the aging potential of this big boy, but you wouldn’t care about that if it weren’t for the bold black and blue fruit, fall spice, leaf and light smoky character. I like to stash wines like this so I’ll find them by accident years from now and say "what a fortuitous find!" A Platinum Award winner at the 2016 Critics Challenge International Wine Competition.
