Bric Cenciurio, Barolo (Piedmont, Italy) 2008

Sep 4, 2012

By Michael Franz

Floral and feminine, with very expressive red fruit notes recalling cherry and raspberry, this lovely wine is actually more suggestive of Barbaresco than Barolo.  Bright acidity and excellent inner energy make for a striking tasting experience, and though this is already a delicious, invigorating wine, it will surely become even more complex and interesting over the course of the next five years.
