Cabin Vineyard wines are a new project in Maryland, while the source of the fruit for this wine could be from anywhere in the US. It’s certainly a worthy wine with plenty of what you expect from Cabernet Sauvignon. Blackberry, cassis and balanced oak spice character offset with mild dried herbs make for satisfying aromas and flavors, and supple tannins keep it all together through a long finish. It’s a well made wine. A Platinum Award Winner at the 2017 Sommelier Challenge International Wine Competition.
