A delectable blend of native grapes (Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro, and Tinta Roriz), this medium-weight wine displays plum and red berry fruit flavors that are enhanced by secondary aromas and flavors hinting at tobacco and dried herbs. In this, it bears more than a passing resemblance to a top-notch red from the Languedoc or Roussillon, though the grapes in the blend do mark it as distinctively Portuguese.
