I’m a fan of dessert wines like this — fortification is not necessary, with oodles of sweet ripe fruit and complex notes of chocolate, leaf and dust adding interest. This will make a fine pairing for blue cheeses, and you might even give it a go with red velvet cake with a sour cream based frosting. Sold in a 500ml bottle.
