Razzleberry and spice is a good summary of this bottling, just one of the many Zinfandel bottlings Carol Shelton brings us each vintage. The 2019 Karma Zin has a sturdy backbone, and while it will please fans of the variety anytime, I would hold this one a while to enjoy down the road when its youthful exuberance calms just a bit. That’s just me, and don’t you worry – I’ll be drinking it young as well.
