The white wines from Baja have been improving dramatically over the last few years as established wineries like Magoni explore creative combinations. This white is 80% Viognier and 20% Fiano, grown in the family’s Manaz Vineyard. This unusual blend works extremely well, capturing some of Viognier’s flowery, exotic charms presented in a medium full bodied but bright and well-balanced style. On the palate, there is plenty of citrus and tropical fruit flavor ending in a smooth finish with lively acidity. It holds up well over time and can be served with a range of seafood main courses.
