From a noted Brunello producer, this blend of Sangiovese and Colorino tastes very ripe. Though the stated alcohol level is just 13.5%, it seems higher. The wine does not feel hot, but it does taste quite extracted, making it a suitable partner for grilled meats but not necessarily for lighter fare. This is a wine for people who want dry, dusty Tuscan flavors in a muscular frame.
