The new release of the Castello di Amorosa Sangiovese is built for fans of deeply spiced bright black fruit that is fully ripe but maintains a svelte figure in the glass. Black cherry, nutmeg, sage, and wildflower aromas lead to a palate that translates those elements directly, even at this early stage. The food friendly acidity will have you salivating for a spicy pasta dish. I’m leaning toward carbonara.
