Cave Ridge Vinyard’s Fossil Hill Reserve is a Cabernet Franc-led (60%) Bordeaux blend. It has warm dark fruit flavors of blueberries and blackberries with a hint of mocha, good density of texture in mouth feel, a dollop of vanilla and light tannins in the finish. This was a Gold medal winner at the 2024 Virginia Governor’s Cup wine competition.
