Ceretto, Barolo (Piedmont, Italy) 2019 ($71, Trinchero Heritage)

This is a solid Barolo, but one on the lean side in terms of body, with very vibrant cherry flavors and a fair depth of flavor. Particularly interesting are its enticing notes of earthy, savory tastes in the finish.
