Arneis is an aromatic white wine grape originally from the Piedmont region of northwest Italy. For many years it was planted with Nebbiolo grapes that produce the regal Barolo and Barbaresco wines, in order to distract birds with its aromas and high sugar content. This dry Arneis from the 2022 vintage benefits from that sugar content, with generous fruit aromas and flavors of yellow plum, pear, peach and citrus with delicate floral notes. It is round and juicy in the mouth, supported by crisp acidity.
