Chamisal typically makes a bold, opulent style of Pinot Noir, and this wine continues in that tradition, with flavors of black cherry, raspberry and rhubarb riding atop a plush texture and finishing big, well integrated and spicy. It’s a fine solo drink-me-up, or try pairing it with a spicy grilled chicken or moderate strength cheeses.
