An ambitious wine, smooth and supple on the palate, this wine feels seductive but tastes overly sweet, especially in the mid-palate and finish. The sugary edge obscures potential complexity, as neither the vineyard nor the grapes can express themselves fully. If the flavors disappoint somewhat, they are definitely counterbalanced by the textural elements. The wine simply feels wonderful. It’s too bad that doesn’t carry through to the taste.
