A serious “Cru” Beaujolais from a single estate with real complexity and depth of flavor, this still manages to display the alluringly open fruit notes that make lesser wines so broadly popular. Plum and berry fruit notes are very generous but neither pushy nor obvious, with an undertow of savory and mineral accents providing sensory counterpoints that keep this interesting sip after delicious sip.
