The 2020 Château La Louvière Blanc is a lovely example of oak-aged white Bordeaux from Pessac-Léognan. The forward bouquet shows pure scents of grapefruit, apricot and lemon curd followed by waxy, floral, vanilla and baking spice tones. It is beautifully pure and layered on the palate, balancing the exotic fruit and citrus peel intensity with a lusciously creamy texture, spice notes and a crisp minerality at the finish. This is a classic white Bordeaux that can be enjoyed over the next 5 to 8 years.
