This fragrant red Bordeaux wine is not only comparatively inexpensive but also soft and refreshing, with clear and conspicuous flavors dominated by earthy, fruity and spicy red fruit flavors. The wine is a blend of 75% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Malbec. Saint-Sulpice is a 145 acre estate located in Entre-Deux-Mers, 14 miles from the city of Bordeaux. Saint-Sulpice owner and winemaker Pierre Dubergé and his son Christophe surely have winemaking in their genes as they descend from eleven generations of winemakers.
