Here is a Wow! wine that has that intangible quality that Pinot Noir lovers know well. Call it verve, spirit, élan, life force, or whatever your favorite synonym of any of those might be — just know that it is contained within this. It is a point where cool climate fruit and shrewd winemaking meet to produce a wine that pops with excitement. You will have noticed by now that I am not listing tangible descriptors here, and I won’t pigeonhole this wine by giving you those specifics, other than to say that great Pinot Noir seems to ride a razor thin edge between berry, citrus, earth and spice, and this wine isn’t riding – it is dancing. Enough said. Except to say decant it thoroughly if going in early, or age up to 12 years. Contains clones 23, 667, 777 ,115 and 37.
