A major winery originally established in Victoria on Vancouver Island, Church & State expanded by adding a new facility in southern Okanagan Valley in 2004. Drawing from its 85-acre estate vineyard, the winery produced a wide range of wines. Its most popular wines are named “Lost Inhibitions,” but this Cabernet Franc stood out for its varietal purity and balance. Aged in French oak, it captures cranberry and black cherry fruit with dill and toasty oak fragrances. Medium bodied and sturdy, it has expansive flavors of cherries and dried sage. It finishes with light tannin.
