One of the first domestic Malbec samples I’ve tasted that delivers the value that you get from southern hemisphere examples in this price range. Bright lilac and cherry liqueur aromas are joined by notes of dill and chocolate, and they translate nicely on the palate, with good grip extending the finish. I’d go for medium strength cheeses — you can afford a nicer set next to this.
